Job Description
Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leading healthcare facility seeks an experienced professional to support its Imaging department, specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) technology. Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IR Technologist or in a similar imaging role
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting interventional radiology equipment
- Valid certification in Radiologic Technology; ARRT (VI) preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Acute attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients safely for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring all devices are operating efficiently and safely
- Accurately capture and document images for physician review
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
