Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing routine manufacturing tasks for new or existing products according to standardized procedures and established work instructions. This role focuses on the production of catalyst carriers at both pilot plant and full plant scale, ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Position Summary:

This role focuses on the production of catalyst carriers at both pilot plant and full plant scale, ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Some post-secondary education from a technical school or college (Preferred)
- Forklift License (Required)
- One (1) year of relevant work experience (Preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and word processing (MS Office preferred), with the ability to learn related applications
- Ability to perform intermediate math operations, including the use of decimals, fractions, and S.I. units
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with team and customers
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work on projects led by others
- Capable of standing for long periods
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands and environments
- Demonstrated results orientation and technical credibility
- Carry out routine manufacturing activities by following standardized procedures and work instructions
- Produce catalyst carriers at pilot and plant level scales, including weighing, mixing, forming, and drying
- Maintain accurate written and electronic documentation throughout the process
- Submit samples to ERP quality system, conduct quality tests, and ship samples to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles; tasks include sweeping, painting, and cleaning
- Adhere strictly to all safety and regulatory protocols, and participate in all required training sessions
- Perform basic, routine maintenance on machinery (such as cleaning or assembly) under supervision
- Operate a forklift, maintaining current certification
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and occasionally customers
- Complete other duties as assigned
