Family Nurse Practitioner Details
- Full time schedule, Monday through Friday
- Day shift, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Locum tenens opportunity with the option to extend
Family Nurse Practitioner Duties
- Work as a member of the medical team providing general medicine services to patients at API
- Provide care across the lifespan, including adolescent and geriatric health needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure timely, effective patient care
- Document patient progress and care in Electronic Health Records (Meditech)
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications
- Active Alaska Nurse Practitioner license
- Family Nurse Practitioner certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner
- Comfortable with EMR, computerized progress notes, and computerized order entry
