For someone to have good experience in pediatric echo, they must have at least one year of full-time pediatric work that is averaging 20 echoes a week, or 4-5 years of part-time averaging 4-5 echoes a week with full pediatric protocol. Roughly about a thousand echoes done as an experience in order to encounter a good number of congenital abnormalities.
