Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist in Acute Care Hospital!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Position: Physical Therapist (PT)\n- Specialty: Acute Care Hospital\n- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Deliver exceptional physical therapy in an acute care setting\n- Utilize Epic as the charting system for patient documentation\n- Effectively assess and address patient needs, focusing on:\n - Adaptive and assistive devices\n - Pain assessment and management\n - Muscle strength testing and vital sign monitoring\n- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including:\n - Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more\n- Engage in patient-centered treatment plans for various diagnoses:\n - Orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and cardiopulmonary issues\n- Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and discharge planning\n- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of patient progress\n\nRequirements:\n\n- Experience: Acute care hospital experience preferred\n- Certifications: BLS (preferred)\n- Skills: Strong proficiency with AROM, PROM, gait training, and more\n- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics; experience with pediatrics and adolescents is a plus\n- Call Requirements: Yes, on an acute rehab unit\n- Weekend Availability: Every Saturday\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n- Trauma Level II experience\n- Experience with modalities such as cryotherapy, moist heat, etc.\n- Knowledge of billing systems: Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
