American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Polson, Montana.

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Polson, Montana – Critical Access Hospital
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Every other weekend required. On-call maximum once per pay period with 30-minute callback time. 91-day assignment through October 19, 2026.
Highlights:- LDRP position covering all areas of obstetrics including labor and delivery, triage, postpartum, and newborn care
- 22-bed critical access facility utilizing Epic charting system
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and unit needs
- Daily census averages 2 patients with 3 available rooms
- Access to wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage management
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and radiology
- Valid Montana or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years recent LDRP experience required; seasoned travelers only
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC, and STABLE preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Demonstrated competency in labor and delivery, triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, and circulating for cesarean sections
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
This travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative critical access setting where you'll utilize your comprehensive LDRP skills across the continuum of maternity care. You'll receive 24-40 hours of paid orientation and work alongside a supportive team with full interdisciplinary resources. Holiday coverage is required in accordance with assignment dates, and you'll have the flexibility to request pre-approved time off during the submittal process.
