- Single Room Maternity Care model

- Inpatient and Outpatient services
Patient Population
- Antepartum patients
- Intrapartum (Labor & Delivery) patients
- Postpartum patients
- Newborn stabilization
- Normal newborn care
- Pediatric patients during the perinatal period
- Clean female surgical cases
- Cesarean section patients (performed and recovered on the unit)
RN Responsibilities
- Comprehensive patient assessment
- Nursing diagnosis and care planning
- Implementation and evaluation of care plans
- Patient and family education
- Documentation of patient outcomes
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
