Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Detail in Brookshire, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, reporting findings through appropriate channels.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours coverage by checking doors, gates, and restricted areas and by maintaining awareness of customer and employee activity across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
