We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and leadership-driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations, mentor nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision: Assist the DON in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Staff Mentorship & Training: Supervise, educate, and mentor the nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs); assist with onboarding, competencies, and ongoing clinical education.
Quality Assurance: Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs, clinical audits, and infection control protocols to maintain excellent patient outcomes.
Care Coordination: Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary teams to manage comprehensive patient care plans.
Operational Support: Assist with staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and maintaining proper clinical documentation within the EMR system.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role (experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute environments preferred).
Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, exceptional communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to motivate and lead a nursing team effectively.
