A respected and growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of public works, educational, civic, municipal, and commercial construction projects throughout Los Angeles County.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field operations from project startup through closeout.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain project schedules and short-term work plans.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead daily site meetings and coordinate field activities.

• Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve jobsite challenges.

• Review construction documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Manage inspections, punch lists, and turnover activities.

• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and site records.

• Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.

• Experience managing public works, K-12, higher education, municipal, civic, healthcare, or institutional projects.

• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction contracts.

• Proven leadership and communication skills.

• Experience managing multiple trades and coordinating complex schedules.

• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality control.

• Ground-up construction projects.

• Design-Build project delivery.
