Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, and PRN shifts available
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available.

Youth Opportunity is a nationally recognized leader in residential and behavioral health treatment for atrisk youth. Rosewood Youth Academy in Nashville, Tennessee is a 30bed secure facility serving boys ages13 to19. This traumainformed setting offers a comprehensive combination of clinical treatment, academic instruction, therapeutic recreation, restorative justice, and expressive therapies.


Youth typically remain in care for about 6months, engaging in individual, family, and group therapy; anger replacement training; substance use prevention; life skills and social skills development; victimimpact awareness; and prevocational preparation. Small group living units provide a structured environment to support successful community reintegration.

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Nashville, TN. LPN Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
  • Conduct intake physical health assessments and screenings
  • Document medical histories and maintain accurate health records
  • Provide basic first aid and support emergency medical situations
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health staff
  • Communicate with guardians, case managers, and outside agencies
  • Ensure compliance with state health regulations and treatment protocols


Required Qualifications

  • Active LPN license in Tennessee
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work with youth in challenging situations


Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years working in behavioral health, pediatrics, or juvenile residential care
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards


Other Requirements

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds and provide necessary physical services to clients. Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state and to the extent that knowledge is attainable under the law. Must be able to transport clients.


  • Other: Must maintain an appropriate and valid state drivers license. Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
