Sonora, CA | Contract
Pay: $50 - $60/hour

This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and support teams while helping students achieve their individual goals.
What You'll Do- Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Serve as case manager and facilitate IEP meetings.
- Assess student progress and monitor academic, behavioral, and developmental growth.
- Maintain accurate student records and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with families, administrators, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement instructional strategies, interventions, accommodations, and support plans.
- Train and supervise classroom paraprofessionals and support staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
- Bachelor’s degree and completion of credential requirements.
- Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Moderate/Severe Disabilities or equivalent Special Education credential.
- Experience supporting students with autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, emotional disturbances, or related needs.
- Knowledge of IEP development, special education compliance, and assessment practices.
- Experience with behavior management and differentiated instruction.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
