What You'll Do
  • Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Serve as case manager and facilitate IEP meetings.
  • Assess student progress and monitor academic, behavioral, and developmental growth.
  • Maintain accurate student records and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with families, administrators, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Implement instructional strategies, interventions, accommodations, and support plans.
  • Train and supervise classroom paraprofessionals and support staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree and completion of credential requirements.
  • Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Moderate/Severe Disabilities or equivalent Special Education credential.
  • Experience supporting students with autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, emotional disturbances, or related needs.
  • Knowledge of IEP development, special education compliance, and assessment practices.
  • Experience with behavior management and differentiated instruction.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
