Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA - Nocona Rehab and Care Center

Nocona Rehabilitation and Care Center in Nocona, TX has an amazing opportunity for a new PRN Physical Therapist Assistant ( PTA ) to join their In-House Therapy Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support to the PT and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
•  Help to assist the PT in a plan of action for the patients.
• Assiting with treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.
• Advising patients on exercise techniques.
• Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Documenting patient care history.
• Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures
