Comfort Creek Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our rehabilitation team. We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and PRN/Per Diem positions. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will provide treatment services to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans. The PTA will help residents improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Essential Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and other prescribed interventions.
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments, resident progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy team members, physicians, and families to ensure optimal resident care.
• Educate residents and caregivers regarding therapy programs and safety practices.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia PTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or geriatric settings.
• Knowledge of EMR documentation systems.
