  • Lead safety initiatives, workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Deliver and coordinate safety-related training programs, including new hire orientation, annual safety training, active shooter preparedness, and other required programs.
  • Administer workers' compensation and occupational health programs, including injury reporting, claim management, and workplace health initiatives.
  • Partner with managers and department leaders to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and promote safe work practices.
  • Track, analyze, and report on safety metrics, trends, and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies, vendors, and service providers to support a safe and compliant workplace.

  • Experience conducting investigations, risk assessments, and safety training.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in healthcare, veterinary medicine, animal welfare, research, or other regulated environments is preferred.
