Job Summary and Qualifications

Summary:

Under the direction of the Radiologists and Administrative Director of Radiology, performs a variety of nuclear medicine studies and variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radionuclide materials.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A. Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: California ARRT or NMTCB registration.

B. Education: Completion of a program from an AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine

 C. Experience: N/A

Special Qualifications:

· Ability to understand how to input and retrieve data into and from computers.

· Knowledge of radioactive materials.

· Ability to speak, write, read, and communicate in English

 

DEGREE OF SUPERVISION REQUIRED:

Degree of Supervision Required

 

AGES OF PATIENTS SERVED:

· Infant (under 1)

· Child (1-12)

· Adolescent (13-18)

· Adult (19-64)

· Geriatric (65+)

What qualifications will you need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate 
  • (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Fluoroscopy, or (PET) Positron Emission Technology
  • No Travel Required
  • No experience Required Years of Experience
