Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Memorial Regional Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - General respiratory care and mechanical ventilation experience preferred. - Pulmonary diagnostics experience preferred. - Cardiac diagnostics experience preferred, including EKG, Holter monitor, event monitor, and cardiac stress testing.

Required Credentials: - Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care ( CoARC) approved Respiratory Care Program

Unit Details: - Provides respiratory care in emergency, neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care areas. - Responsibilities include monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering respiratory medications, airway management with bag/mask ventilation, assisting with intubation, arterial blood gas draws, hemodynamic monitoring, and assessment of blood work results. - Cares for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Holiday Coverage: No

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
