The Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in supporting accurate, efficient inventory operations within a contract logistics environment. They are responsible for executing daily inventory tasks, performing investigations, and maintaining data integrity across warehouse systems. They work closely with warehouse operations, customer service, and site leadership to ensure inventory accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support continuous improvement.
Compensation: $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm, may vary
Responsibilities
Execute daily inventory control activities within a warehouse or 3PL environment.
Perform cycle counts, recounts, audits, and reconciliation tasks across assigned inventory areas.
Research inventory discrepancies using WMS tools, physical verification, and supporting documentation.
Process inventory adjustments following established procedures and escalation guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, count results, and investigation findings.
Support inbound and outbound processes by verifying part numbers, quantities, and documentation accuracy.
Collaborate with warehouse associates, leads, and operations teams to address inventory‑related questions or issues.
Monitor product locations, slotting accuracy, and inventory integrity throughout the facility.
Assist with customer or internal inventory reporting needs by providing timely, accurate information.
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements in daily inventory work.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy.
Communicate inventory issues or risks promptly to inventory leadership or site management.
All other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)/equivalent preferred.
Certification/Licensure: None required; forklift or equipment certification may be preferred depending on site needs.
Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Prior experience in inventory control, material handling, or related operational roles preferred.
Ability to read and interpret inventory documents, reports, and system data.
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and accuracy in data entry.
Working proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and/or logistics technology tools.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information.
Technical: Proficient with common office technologies, including Windows PCs, Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)
Environment: Comfort commuting to/from and working in a 100% on-site setting (listed in this posting), with travel for related meetings/events.
