Begin your shift reviewing wiring diagrams, one-lines, wire lists, and specifications. You’ll organize priorities from work requests, set up circuit boards and programs, and run system-level tests such as insulation resistance (IR) and dielectric evaluations. As issues surface, you’ll diagnose electrical faults down to the component on AC/DC circuits and printed circuit boards, then document findings and results in thorough logs and reports. Throughout, you’ll uphold a safe work area by following standards, procedures, and applicable codes.
Tools and methods you’ll use- Digital meter, current meter, current clamp
- Out of phase transformer, variac transformer, resistive load bank
- Hi-pot tester and infrared camera
- Computer-based test interfaces and documentation systems
- Perform system tests, including IR and dielectric testing, and complete written test reports, logs, and records
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in complex systems
- Troubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and printed circuit assemblies to the component level
- Assemble, program, and functionally test circuit boards
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- At least one (1) year of experience in electrical test or a closely related electronic technologies field, ideally in manufacturing
- No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).

Preferred background- Associate’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering technology
- Prior training with electrical equipment and testing procedures; ability to read and interpret one-line drawings, wire lists, and schematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Understanding of delta-wye 3 phase transformer and resistive load bank technology
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift
- Lift up to 50 pounds during the work shift
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, push, and/or pull
