• Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinic or physician office preferred
• Knowledge of chronic kidney disease (CKD), dialysis, and hypertension is helpful
• Basic understanding of renal laboratory values, including BUN, Creatinine, and GFR, is helpful
• Experience obtaining accurate vital signs, especially blood pressure readings
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and electronic documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and strong patient service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with providers, nurses, and clinical staff
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
• Professional outpatient nephrology clinic environment
• Frequent interaction with patients, providers, dialysis facilities, and healthcare staff
• Fast-paced medical office setting requiring attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Collaborative team-oriented atmosphere focused on quality patient care
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and medical office equipment
• Ability to accurately obtain and record patient vital signs

Key Personnel is seeking a Medical Assistant for a nephrology practice in the Tulsa, OK area.
Medical Assistant Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hr. DOE
Medical Assistant Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
• Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations
• Obtain and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, weight, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation
• Perform medication reconciliations and update medication lists in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Document patient information accurately and maintain complete medical records
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures as directed
• Monitor and update patient charts to ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Support chronic disease management and patient education efforts
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients with chronic kidney disease, dialysis-related conditions, hypertension, and other renal
