Facilities Support TechnicianPosition Summary

The Facilities Support Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment across two company locations. This position performs routine and deep cleaning duties, manages facility supplies, and assists with various facility-related projects and miscellaneous tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining a professional workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in office, restroom, breakroom, and common areas.
• Conduct routine deep cleaning projects, including floors, windows, walls, equipment surfaces, and other facility areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock restroom, breakroom, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of facility and janitorial supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with facility organization, storage areas, and housekeeping initiatives.
• Perform light facility support tasks, including moving furniture, setting up meeting rooms, and assisting with special events.
• Complete miscellaneous projects and odd jobs as assigned.
• Travel between company locations as needed to support facility operations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report facility maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facility support experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.

Schedule

Part-time position with a flexible schedule and potential for full-time. Day Shift - Hours may vary based on facility needs and special projects.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to the Human Resources Manager.
