Pharmacist - IHS Contract

Description:

The Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility is seeking experienced Pharmacists to support a busy outpatient pharmacy serving the Belcourt community. This is a contract opportunity working alongside a collaborative healthcare team within Indian Health Service.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications accurately
• Counsel patients on safe and effective medication use
• Review prescriptions for interactions, allergies, and dosing
• Work within electronic health record and pharmacy automation systems
• Collaborate with providers and pharmacy staff to support patient care
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day shifts between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No overtime
• Up to 40 hours per week

Additional Information

• Contract assignment with potential extension options
• Government facility experience is a plus

Requirements:

• PharmD, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory pharmacy preferred
• Experience with EHR/RPMS systems preferred
