Ready for predictable hours, steady pay, and a role where your clinical skills make a real impact? We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team as an Occupational Health Paramedic at a busy construction site in Elmore, AL.
This is atemporary fulltime assignment, offering a great opportunity to transition from the stress of EMS, ED, or hospitalbased care into a proactive, onsite occupational health role. Youll help prevent injuries, support worker wellness, and contribute to a safe, highperformance job site every day.

Youll be a key member of a safetyfocused medical team, providing injury triage, health support, and wellness guidance while collaborating closely with site safety personnel and project leadership.
Schedule
- Fulltime schedule aligned with project needs
- Weekend or as needed coverage may be required depending on site activity
- Temporary assignment with potential for future MMC opportunities nationwide
What This Role Is
Youll provide onsite medical coverage in a clinic setting at an active construction site, including:
- Triage and treatment of occupational and nonoccupational injuries and illnesses
- Followup care based on evidencebased medical protocols
- OSHA and workers compensation documentation
- First aid and emergency response
- Daily collaboration with site safety teams
- Promoting employee wellness initiatives
This isnot a traditional ambulance role. Youll work in a clinic environment, build relationships with workers, and contribute to the safe, efficient operation of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and treat injuries and illnesses
- Maintain accurate medical and OSHA documentation in EMR
- Conduct preemployment and ongoing occupational health screenings
- Support risk management and workers compensation processes
- Lead Stretch & Flex sessions and participate in site walks
- Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive workplace relationships
Qualifications
- Current State Medical License (or ability to obtain per NREMT, State Laws, EMS/Nurses Compact)
- Current ACLS certification required
- OSHA30 Certification required within 90 days (companyprovided)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Healthcare Provider
- Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred
- Valid drivers license in good standing (when driving is required)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical office equipment
- Must follow strict safety and infection control protocols
