Job Description
Join Didion Milling in Cambria, WI and keep our products safe, consistent, and ready for customers who count on us. As a Food Safety & Quality Control Technician, you’ll own in-process checks and documentation that protect our brand and the people we serve.
Role snapshot- Schedule: 6PM–6AM | 4 day on/4 days off
- Location: Cambria, WI
- Compensation: $22–$26 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift Premium: +$3.00/hour
- Extra PTO: 40 hours annually
Picture clocking in as the line ramps up. You’ll rotate through stations performing physical tests and in-process quality checks—no chemistry or advanced lab background needed. You capture results in our systems, flag trends early, and partner with production to keep everything in spec. When priorities shift, you pivot fast, keeping your area food-safe and audit-ready while helping teammates solve problems in real time.
What you’ll handle- Run routine quality tests and inspections to verify safety and compliance
- Log, analyze, and report results using computer tools
- Maintain a clean, food-safe workspace aligned to SOPs and GMPs
- Respond to changing production needs without missing a beat
- Work closely with a precision-minded team focused on continuous improvement
- Reliable work history and accountability
- Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy
- Comfort operating in regulated/GMP environments
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with urgency
- Collaborative attitude and appetite for growth
Experience in lab testing, food production, or quality assurance is a plus—but not required. We’ll train the right candidates!
