Job Description
Pay: DOE (Based on Experience) $25-$50/Hr
Schedule: Must be available for overtime, emergency call-outs, and alternating weekends
Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join a growing industrial manufacturing operation in Shawnee, OK. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and automated controls throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC experience, electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment and machinery
- Program, diagnose, and repair PLC systems and Allen Bradley 500/5000 drive systems
- Install, wire, and fabricate electrical control panels and controllers
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Diagnose and repair electrical motors, AC/DC drives, relays, and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory
- Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and drive systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Experience troubleshooting electrical motors, controls, relays, and drives
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical safety practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with controller fabrication and panel wiring
- Knowledge of voltage converters and relay logic
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement experience
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to climb ladders and work from scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to respond to emergency equipment failures and work extended hours when needed
