Medical Assistant

Description:

Medical assistants are cross-trained to perform administrative and clinical duties in a health care facility. Their duties may be entry-level or mid-level and are designed to improve the efficiency of the medical practice. They take vital signs, review and update patient histories, schedule appointments, and assist the physician or nurse with treatment plans.

The medical assistant's job duties include: Greeting Patients, Measuring Vital Signs, Updating Medical Records, Prepare Examination Rooms, Assisting with Medical Procedures, Prepare and Administer Medications, Preform Administrative Duties.

Requirements:

Certified or Registered in the state of Missouri.
