About the Role:
The Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the food service environment by acting as the central communication point between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff. This position is responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of food orders, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that each dish meets the restaurant's standards before reaching the customer. The Expo must manage multiple orders simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with chefs, servers, and management to maintain a seamless dining experience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the Expo contributes significantly to customer satisfaction by facilitating prompt service and upholding the establishment's reputation for quality and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as an Expo or in a similar coordinating role within a restaurant.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and kitchen display technology.
- Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:
