Material Handling Personnel - Now Hiring

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Handling Personnel to join their team. As a Material Handling Personnel, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting production and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handling Personnel

Location: Kalkaska, MI

Pay Range: $16.60/hr

Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:30pm, with mandatory overtime on Fridays 6:00am-2:00pm, and some Saturdays if required

What's the Job?

• Conduct walk-around inspections of equipment at the start of each shift
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Operate a weigh scale to support production needs
• Load stock and support billet feeding processes
• Assist with dumping scrap and supporting shop operations as needed

What's Needed?

• Experience operating a forklift
• Ability to manually lift up to 35 pounds frequently
• Basic math skills for operational tasks
• Willingness to support various tasks within the shop environment
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
