Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional Night Security Officer to help ensure the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel, respond to incidents, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while promoting a safe and welcoming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the hotel property, including guest areas, parking lots, entrances, and common areas.
• Monitor security cameras and investigate suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
• Assist with enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance to guests when needed and maintain a professional presence.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and hotel management when necessary.
• Secure doors, gates, and restricted access areas throughout the shift.
• Monitor fire and life safety systems and respond appropriately to alarms.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to patrol both indoor and outdoor areas in various weather conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
