State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Surgical Support Aide / STNA to support surgical services and patient care operations. This role assists with patient transport, operating room preparation, equipment and supply management, and basic patient care duties within the scope of STNA certification. The ideal candidate is organized, team-oriented, and committed to providing a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and turn over operating rooms before and after procedures.
• Transport patients to and from surgical and recovery areas.
• Assist with patient positioning, comfort, and basic care needs within STNA scope of practice.
• Stock and replenish surgical supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize surgical equipment and work areas.
• Assist nursing and surgical staff with non-clinical support tasks.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
