Deputy State Medical Examiner - Southern Oregon

Deputy State Medical Examiners provide forensic pathology services in three locations: the Portland metro area (Clackamas County), Eugene, and Central Point. The successful applicant will serve Southern Oregon, working with the Chief Medical Examiner to support outreach to counties served by the new facility and to help refine its operations.

The position includes performing autopsies, providing expert medical consultation, preparing reports for death investigations, and delivering training to law enforcement agencies, county medical examiners, district attorneys, and medicolegal death investigators.
