Box Truck Driver

Box Truck Driver Class C (Northern California)

$22-$24 per hour DOE

Santa Barbara Freight Corp is looking for a highly motivated, professional, flexible, dependable, and reliable Class C Box Truck Driver with a clean driving record to join our Fairfield Facility Team. This position is full time with drivers averaging 8 to 14 hours per day.

Our Company Class C Drivers are required to operate on DOT Class A Hours of Service utilizing an ELD app. Experience working with palletized freight of wine/spirits, cans, and kegs is greatly appreciated.

Minimum requirements to be considered:

• At least two (2) years’ driving experience operating in a large box truck greater than 10,000 lbs. or equivalent.
• Current Class C Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to Pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and fit-for-hire physical.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to skillfully operate a hand truck and pallet jack.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Basic math ability for counting cases and pallets of varying sizes and quantities.
• Exceptional people and service skills for interacting with customers, warehouse staff, dispatchers, and other drivers.
