Maintenance technician

NOW HIRING IMMEDIATELY for a Maintenance Technician in Leominster, MA.

Shift: Mon-Fri 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT.

Requirements:
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair machinery
• Ideal candidate must demonstrate record of excellent attendance
• They must be detail-oriented

Duties:
• Machinery Inspection, conduct regular inspections of machines to identify any potential issues, malfunctions, or signs of wear and tear. This includes checking mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Preventive Maintenance, perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment, to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the machinery. Develop and follow a maintenance schedule to keep machines in good working condition.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other system failures in machinery. Use tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices to identify problems and implement effective solutions. This may involve disassembling and reassembling machine components, replacing faulty parts, and testing repaired machinery.
• Documentation and Reporting, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Prepare reports on machine performance, issues encountered, and maintenance tasks completed. Provide recommendations for process improvements and upgrades to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
• Safety Compliance, ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while working on machinery. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance or repair work.
