Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift

Position Summary

The Material Coordinator performs a variety of warehouse and inventory-related activities, including material handling, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and packaging with minimal supervision. This position supports manufacturing and production schedules by coordinating workflow, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring materials are available to meet operational requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Load and unload incoming shipments and freight.
  • Receive, inspect, and store materials while maintaining accurate inventory records, including quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and related documentation.
  • Prepare products and materials for shipment by verifying counts, weights, dimensions, labels, and shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate with production teams to monitor workflow and ensure materials are available to support scheduled production activities.
  • Maintain communication with warehouse, inventory, production, engineering, and support teams to meet scheduling and operational requirements.
  • Pick and issue materials based on work orders while maintaining inventory traceability and accuracy.
  • Update inventory databases and records as needed.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, or production control preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
