Warehouse Porter

We are looking for Porters, they are primarily responsible for keeping production and distribution facilities clean, organized, and compliant with health standards. They handle routine janitorial work, facility maintenance, and assist warehouse teams with inventory organization and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Sanitation: Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in warehouses, corporate offices, and break areas.
• Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, dispose of cardboard, and ensure hazardous materials are handled properly. 
• Warehouse Support: Assist heavy-duty warehouse staff or order pickers by moving pallets, organizing inventory, and sweeping loading docks. 
• Safety Compliance: Clean up spills, remove debris from walkways to prevent workplace accidents, and strictly adhere to FDA and OSHA food safety guidelines.
• Restock Supplies: Replenish cleaning and sanitation stations, as well as break-room supplies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic, routine maintenance on cleaning machinery or alert facility managers to equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform bending, pulling, and carrying.
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of OSHA workplace safety, hazard communication, and sanitation protocols.
• Reliability & Communication: Punctual and able to follow detailed instructions from warehouse supervisors or facility managers.
• Equipment Certification: While not always required, familiarity with or willingness to learn how to use pallet jacks and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
