Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift

Position Summary

Works under the general direction of the Production Supervisor and daily direction of a Cell Leader with limited supervision. Performs multiple fabrication tasks within an assigned team, project, or functional area. Responsibilities include routine and repetitive fabrication, mechanical assembly, and quality assurance processes following established methods, policies, and procedures. This position offers multiple levels, with placement based on experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform various fabrication and assembly tasks of limited complexity using general and electric hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Work from production schedules, work orders, drawings, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy while working to close tolerances of +/- .010 to .030.
• Participate in fabrication projects and assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and scheduling performance.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 months of related manufacturing or fabrication experience required.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
• Experience using adjustable measuring instruments such as calipers, protractors, and scales preferred.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, routers, CNC machines, or similar fabrication equipment preferred.
