Are you tech savy and have warehouse experience? Our client is looking for a warehouse associate to join their team! If you are interested in getting into the IT field or enjoy working in a warehouse setting, the warehouse associate assignment is the job for you!
Status: Temporary through the Summer
Compensation: $22.00/hr
Location: Sterling, VA
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm ( occasional overtime)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in shipping, receiving, and storing items
- Ability to work independently
- conduct inventory counts and audits as needed
- Collect and record data
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 1-2 years of working in a warehouse setting
- Highschool or GED required
Preferred Skills
- Team player
- Great communication skills
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Problem-solving skills
- Highly organized
- Experience with UPS program and shipping policies
- Some Technical/computer skills preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Able to work at a fast pace to meet warehouse demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. repetitively
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
