Heat Exchanger Fabrication Shop Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to manage the receipt, verification, and organization of materials, ensuring smooth operations and timely production. Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and unload materials arriving at the shop

- Check in materials and verify measurements against purchase orders and specifications

- Use tape measures and other tools to ensure accurate measurement and quality control

- Organize and store materials efficiently to facilitate easy access and inventory management

- Operate a forklift to move and position materials within the shop

- Maintain accurate records of received materials and update inventory systems

- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material flow

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in material receiving, check-in, and organization

- Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measurement tools

- Valid forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely

- Knowledge of inventory management systems; familiarity with Job Boss software is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
