Wheat Receiver - JIFFY Mix

Our client Chelsea Milling Company - JIFFY Mix is seeking a Wheat Receiver to join their team. As a Wheat Receiver, you will be part of the operations department supporting the production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Wheat Receiver

Location: Chelsea, MI

Pay Range: $22 per hour

Shift: 6am to 2pm, Monday through Friday.

What's the Job?

• Coordinate the delivery of wheat and sample incoming products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform sampling and testing of incoming wheat shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of incoming shipments and sampling results using computer systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to wheat receiving processes.
• Support transition to parts room attendant after initial training period, contributing to inventory management and organization.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in dusty environments.
• Comfortable with computer work and attention to detail.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
