A highly regarded fine dining steakhouse in Charlotte is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join its culinary leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a polished, high-expectation environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food and guest experiences.
What You'll Do
- Support and lead daily kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Train, coach, and develop a talented culinary team
- Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and labor costs
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently upheld
- Lead by example during service and help drive a positive kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of culinary leadership experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants
- Steakhouse experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, and labor management
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Passion for quality, hospitality, and excellence in execution
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $85,000-$105,000
