SmartHire is looking for a Class A CDL driver to join a client in the Tacoma area. Ideal candidate will have driving, warehouse, distribution and customer service background. Valid WA State CDL A, clean driving record and ability to lift 50lbs needed. You will be loading/unloading and working within the Warehouse as well. This is a full time, direct hire role that gets you home every night!

Salary: $33-$35 an hour DOE

CDL Class A Driver & Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver & Warehouse Associate to support transportation and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for timely pickups and deliveries, operating commercial vehicles, and assisting with warehouse functions including loading, unloading, inventory organization, and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

·Safely operate tractor-trailers, box trucks, and other company vehicles.

·Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries in a timely manner.

·Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

·Load, unload, and secure products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.

·Pull, stage, and prepare orders for delivery.

·Assist with inventory control, product rotation, and warehouse organization.

·Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

·Provide professional customer service to partners, vendors, and team members.

·Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

·Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.

·Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and PIT certification.

·Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.

·Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift.

·Basic computer, smartphone, and communication skills.

·Strong safety awareness, reliability, and teamwork skills.

·Flexible schedule and dependable attendance.
