We are seeking a dedicated and motivated California-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our experienced and collaborative team.

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate California-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about helping others and eager to contribute to the continued growth of a respected, community-focused practice.

We are ideally seeking coverage three days per week at our Aliso Viejo location, with a flexible schedule available Monday through Friday based on the right candidate's availability.

Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans and provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical procedures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate is a team player who values evidence-based care, builds meaningful patient relationships, and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercise, functional training, and manual therapy techniques
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs, recovery goals, and injury prevention strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings with the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with urgent care providers and referring physicians to ensure continuity of care
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture through professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding patient service

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
  • Current California PTA license in good standing
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
  • Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
