Job Description
We are hiring multiple Skilled Carpenters for a major new construction project in South Florida, with openings across Miami‐Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This is a long‐term opportunity for experienced carpenters who can perform high‐quality work in a fast‐paced commercial environment.
You will work alongside site supervisors and trades teams to complete framing, formwork, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry tasks essential to project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Framing & Rough Carpentry — Layout, measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal framing systems.
- Formwork Construction — Build and install forms for concrete pours.
- Finish Carpentry — Install doors, hardware, trim, blocking, and other finish components.
- Blueprint Interpretation — Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Tool Operation — Safely operate saws, drills, nail guns, and other carpentry tools.
- Site Coordination — Work with supervisors and trades to maintain workflow and safety.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of professional carpentry experience
- Strong skills in framing, formwork, and/or finish carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across South Florida
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active construction environments
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Preferred Skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (REQUIRED)
- High‐rise or large commercial project experience
- Experience mentoring apprentices or helpers
- Knowledge of building codes and construction standards
