2. Do you believe praise and worship can create an atmosphere for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to operate, like healing, miracles and prophecy?
3. Are you able help start a worship academy by teaching guitar, or piano, or voice. 
4. Are you willing to use worship as an evangelism tool outside the church?
5. Are you a team builder finding and adding musicians and singers?

the ideal candidate for the Worship Pastor at The Rock Church.

Education and Experience 

• College degree in Worship Ministry, or a related field is preferred, however what one lacks in education may be counter balanced by years of experience, the anointing of God, and a desire to further biblical education 
• 2 or more years of relevant experience in a church or ministry setting
• Experience in leading others into spontaneous praise 
• Experience with Planning Center, ProPresenter, multi-tracks and Facebook Live Online and familiarity with other worship technologies and software for recording

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency as a vocalist and musician, with some experience in guitar
• Able to teach others to play instruments
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Strong interpersonal, relational, and communication skills
• Lead and develop worship and live stream production volunteers
• Ability to lead, give direction to, and develop a worship band
• Needs to be able to create a positive, encouraging team environment
• Should take initiative to improve, develop, and grow the worship ministry 
• Exemplifies the character of a leader found in 1 Timothy 3:1–7, Titus 1:5–16, 
• Agrees with the church’s statement of faith / doctrine and values as found in the Church Bylaws 
• Approaches all things with humility and a teachable spirit
• Self-starter who is strongly motivated and is passionate about the mission
• Exhibits a spirit of flexibility with time off and office hours
• Should be attentive to, and led by, the Holy Spirit
• Able to see the potential in the next generation, and create opportunities for the church of tomorrow to become the church of today

 Weekly responsibilities Include but not limited to:

 Engaging in the life of the church through small groups each week 

Sunday Am worship and practice manage media, livestream and sound teams

Monthly worship night on weekends 

lead and help make worship videos for small groups

Teach guitar /piano / voice as you develop a worship academy for beginners in person and online

 Developing a background vocal team of multiple generations

Develop quarterly worship nights

creative brainstorming for outreach events

New song collaboration with senior pastor

Help, assist, and supervise in related areas like. stage maintenance projects, and all church events as needed in the community practicing servant leadership
