Sales Representative - Food

Sales Representative – Mainstream position at a growing manufacturing company.

• Direct hire position with excellent benefit package
• $ 75,000/yr.

First 3 months – on-site training

After 3 months – Hybrid – one day in the office

Requirements of the Sales Representative – Mainstream:

• Prefer a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least 1 year of B2B sales experience
• Food-related sales experience is a big plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to travel (25%)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license
• Occasionally may need to lift heavy objects as needed

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative – Mainstream:

This role supports overseeing regional natural and specialty channels, managing key accounts and distributor relationships, and driving growth through new customer acquisition and product expansion.

• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Manage brokers
• Support promotions and product demos
• Present new products to customers
• Handle accounts receivable and payments
• Manage account budgets
• Conduct market research and track competition
• Analyze data and support sales strategies
• Use ERP/CRM systems for daily tasks
• Work with internal teams on projects
• Promote products at trade shows
• Support and implement price increases

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:30 a.m. – 05:30 p.m.
