Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients with psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, major depression, and bipolar disorder
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California
• At least 1 year of acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• CPI or AVADE certification required
• Experience with psychiatric patient populations preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong psychiatric nursing skills
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
