Job Description
The Order Picker will be responsible for preparing and completing orders efficiently, which includes loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs periodically and involves picking orders based on assigned zones and tracking picks with an RF Scanner. The individual must be comfortable working on a computer and able to understand both written and verbal English instructions. The position demands standing, bending, and lifting for 8-10 hours as part of material handling tasks, ensuring that online customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped with speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders by loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
- Pick orders based on assigned zones using RF Scanner.
- Stand, bend, and lift for 8-10 hours for material handling.
- Pick, pack, and ship online customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for all outbound shipments.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- 2+ years of order picking experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Order picking experience with an RF Scan gun.
- Ability to understand written and verbal English.
- 1+ year of retail experience preferred.
- 1+ year of packing in a high volume environment is preferred.
- Experience using a pallet jack.
- Steel Toe Shoes are required.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large distribution center with racking and processing/desk areas for shipping, featuring tall racks with various departments. Employees will operate wave riders and pallet jacks throughout the racking zones. Steel/Safety Toe Shoes are required. The work schedule includes options of Sunday to Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 2 am, or Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
