Job Title: Process Lead
Job Description
The Process Lead oversees daily production operations within a designated area, ensuring that efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role that coordinates team activities, supports production goals, maintains equipment performance, and drives continuous improvement. The Process Lead also plays a key role in training team members, supporting safety compliance, and facilitating clear communication across the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations within an assigned area to ensure efficiency, safety, and product quality.
- Coordinate and guide team activities to meet production targets and maintain smooth workflow across shifts.
- Monitor production processes and quality and process control measures to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Support and enforce compliance with safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to production, quality checks, inventory, and process control activities.
- Assist in managing inventory and supply chain coordination to ensure materials are available for continuous production.
- Support contract management processes as they relate to production activities and documentation requirements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and quality, and help implement corrective actions.
- Support leadership development within the production team by providing guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training.
- Ensure production equipment is used correctly, report performance issues, and support basic troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.
- Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing safety procedures and addressing potential hazards promptly.
- Facilitate clear communication between production, quality control, and other functions to support operational goals.
Essential Skills
- 2–3+ years of experience in manufacturing or food processing environments.
- Strong understanding of production equipment and operational workflows.
- Experience working in environments that follow SOPs and GMP standards.
- Knowledge of quality and process control practices in a production setting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to support and enforce safety procedures consistently.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate activities across the production floor.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation related to production and quality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support team communication.

Work Environment
The role is based in a production and quality control environment with multiple shift options. Day shifts generally run from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and night shifts from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am, with schedules that may include combinations of days such as Monday through Wednesday, Thursday through Saturday, or Wednesday through Saturday, depending on the specific production area. Flex scheduling may include alternating weeks with one flex day for attendance. The work takes place in a structured production setting where adherence to SOPs and GMP standards is essential, and employees regularly work around production equipment and quality control processes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
