Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Effective communication abilities with students, colleagues, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Track progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Modify curriculum and strategies to address diverse learning challenges
  • Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and confidence
  • Collaborate regularly with resource specialists, general education teachers, and support staff
  • Communicate proactively with parents or guardians about student development and classroom updates
