Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Birmingham, Alabama

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to provide dedicated care in an independent retail pharmacy environment. The position is per diem, with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing for flexible work one to two days per week on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities will include managing prescription order entry using Quick Script, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring excellent patient care in a setting supported by 1 to 2 pharmacy technicians and a cashier. The pharmacy handles an average script volume of 180 to 200 prescriptions per day, providing a dynamic yet manageable workload for a detail-oriented pharmacist.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Alabama
• Previous pharmacy experience; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Proficient in prescription order entry systems, particularly Quick Script
